Following is a visit to the Museo Botero that houses works donated by the artist Fernando Botero and others by Picasso, Renoir, Dalí, Matisse, Monet and Giacometti, to mention a few. Next, we’ll visit the Museo del Oro which features nearly 34.000 gold objects and 20.000 in stone, ceramic, textiles and precious stones of the Quimbaya, Calima, Tairona, Sinu, Muisca, Tolima, Tumaco and Magdalena cultures. After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to San Andrés. Arrival and connecting flight to Providencia. 15 to 20 minute flight, arrival and transfer to the hotel. A visit to the neighboring island of Santa Catalina, connected by a colorful wooden bridge called “lovers bridge”, is recommended. After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to San Andrés and transfer to the hotel. The islands of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina, in the Caribbean sea northwest of Colombia, were declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in the year 2000. It is thought San Andrés was discovered by Christopher Columbus on his second voyage but was controlled by the English and Dutch through a rare collaboration of over 30 years, by which the English were in charge of colonizing and the Dutch of commercial exchange in the Antilles. Nowadays, the island is well known for its beaches, some with pinkish red coral sand, and a clear sea with a range of blue tonalities. Overnight stay.Meals: B / - / -

Half day visit to the city’s Colonial district, starting in Parque Bolívar, which is surrounded by large tress and four fountains with a statue of El Libertador in the center. Around the square, the Museo del Oro, which exhibits pre Hispanic objects, and the Palace of the Inquisition, recognizable from its baroque entrance door. The meetings of the tribunal took place in the palace, and it housed the prison and torture chambers for the alleged opponents of the Catholic church. The visit continues to the Santo Domingo church and the cathedral to end in the Ramparts and the Museo de Las Fortificaciones. Free afternoon for individual activities.
