Day 1 | Bogotá

Arrival at El Dorado airport in Bogotá with an intercontinental flight. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.Meals: - / - / -

Day 2 | Bogotá - City Tour

Half day visit to the historic center known as La Candelaria.  Following is a visit to the Museo Botero that houses works donated by the artist Fernando Botero and others by Picasso, Renoir, Dalí, Matisse, Monet and Giacometti, to mention a few. Next, we’ll visit the Museo del Oro which features nearly 34.000 gold objects and 20.000 in stone, ceramic, textiles and precious stones of the Quimbaya, Calima, Tairona, Sinu, Muisca, Tolima, Tumaco and Magdalena cultures.  Free afternoon for individual activities (we recommend visiting the city’s various museums). Days 3 | Bogotá - San Andrés - Providencia

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to San Andrés. Arrival and connecting flight to Providencia. 15 to 20 minute flight, arrival and transfer to the hotel. Providencia, a 17 km2 island with solitary bays, is an ideal destination for sea and beach enthusiasts, perfect to relax or for marine sports such as snorkeling and diving.  Meals: B / - / -

Days 4 and 5 | Providencia Island

Free day for beach activities or excursions to the on the island’s various beaches. A visit to the neighboring island of Santa Catalina, connected by a colorful wooden bridge called “lovers bridge”, is recommended. The island was thought to be the famous Treasure Island, and many organized expeditions on its quest, particularly the English. Overnight stay.Meals: B / - / -

Day 6 | Providencia Island - San Andrés

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to San Andrés and transfer to the hotel. The islands of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina, in the Caribbean sea northwest of Colombia, were declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in the year 2000. It is thought San Andrés was discovered by Christopher Columbus on his second voyage but was controlled by the English and Dutch through a rare collaboration of over 30 years, by which the English were in charge of colonizing and the Dutch of commercial exchange in the Antilles. Nowadays, the island is well known for its beaches, some with pinkish red coral sand, and a clear sea with a range of blue tonalities. Overnight stay.Meals: B / - / -

Day 7 | San Andrés

Free day for beach activities. An excursion to Johnny Cay and Acuario is recommended. Overnight stay.Meals: B / - / -

Day 8 | San Andrés - Barranquilla - Cartagena

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for departure by flight to Barranquilla. Arrival, transfer to Cartagena and hotel check-in. Overnight stay.Meals: B / - / -

Day 9 | Cartagena City Tour

Half day visit to the city’s Colonial district, starting in Parque Bolívar, which is surrounded by large tress and four fountains with a statue of El Libertador in the center. Around the square, the Museo del Oro, which exhibits pre Hispanic objects, and the Palace of the Inquisition, recognizable from its baroque entrance door. The meetings of the tribunal took place in the palace, and it housed the prison and torture chambers for the alleged opponents of the Catholic church. The visit continues to the Santo Domingo church and the cathedral to end in the Ramparts and the Museo de Las Fortificaciones. Free afternoon for individual activities. Day 10 | Cartagena

Free day for individual activities. We recommend an excursion to Islas del Rosario. Overnight stay.Meals: B / - / -

Day 11 | Cartagena - Tayrona National Park

Four to five hour transfer to Tayrona National Park after breakfast. Arrival and check-in in Ecohabs. Overnight stay.Meals: B / - / -

Day 12 | Tayrona National Park

Free day to relax, for beach activities or to organize excursions such as a walk to Pueblito, snorkeling or horseback riding. Bike rentals are also available. Overnight stay in the lodge.Meals: B / L / D

Day 13 | Tayrona National Park - Santa Marta

Morning transfer to Santa Marta airport after breakfast.Meals: B / - / -
