Day 1 | Bogotá

Arrival to El Dorado airport in Bogotá with an intercontinental flight. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.Meals: - / - / -

Day 2 | Bogotá - City Tour

Half day visit to the historic center known as La Candelaria.  Following is a visit to the Museo Botero that houses works donated by the artist Fernando Botero and others by Picasso, Renoir, Dalí, Matisse, Monet and Giacometti, to mention a few. Next, we’ll visit the Museo del Oro which features nearly 34.000 gold objects and 20.000 in stone, ceramic, textiles and precious stones of the Quimbaya, Calima, Tairona, Sinu, Muisca, Tolima, Tumaco and Magdalena cultures.  Free afternoon for individual activities (we recommend visiting the city’s various museums). Day 3 | Bogotá - Cartagena

Breakfast and departure by flight to Cartagena. Arrival, transfer and hotel check-in. Half day visit to the city’s Colonial district, starting in Parque Bolívar. Around the square, the Museo del Oro, which exhibits pre Hispanic objects, and the Palace of the Inquisition, recognizable from its baroque entrance door.  The visit continues to the Santo Domingo church and the cathedral to end in the Ramparts and the Museo de Las Fortificaciones.Meals: - / - / -

Day 4 | Cartagena City Tour

Start with a panoramic view of the city from the monastery and church of La Popa. Built in 1606, it is perched on the area’s only important elevation and was formerly called “La Popa del Galeón”, for its incredible resemblance to the stern of a galleon. Visit to the fortress of San Felipe de Barajas, built on the San Lázaro hill in order to defend the city from pirate attacks. Continuation to the old town to visit the convent of San Pedro Claver and the artisan center in Las Bóvedas.Meals: - / - / -

Day 5 | Cartagena - Bogotá - Caracas

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for a Cartagena-Caracas flight connecting through Bogotá. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.Meals: B / - / -

Day 6 | Caracas - Canaima National Park

Transfer to the airport and departure to Canaima. Arrival, transfer and check-in in lodge. Lunch. Excursion in curiara -local motor canoe- in the afternoon along the Canaima lagoon. Visitors will be struck by the majesty of the Auyantepuy and the Cañón del Diablo, one of the most impressive in the world and the source of the famous Angel Falls. The water and surface foam in rivers and lagoons are usually pink, a phenomenon generated by the presence of tannin, an organic acid produced by vegetation decomposing under the sun. Day 7 | Canaima National Park

Free day for individual activities. Visits to the base of the Angel Falls, to Isla Orquídea, Kavak or Salto El Sapo are recommended.Meals: B / L / D

Day 8 | Canaima National Park - Caracas - Los Roques National Park

Free morning. We recommend a flight over the Angel Falls, which at 979 meters high is considered the world’s tallest waterfall. The sound of the water falling from Cañón del Diablo and the surrounding forest make this one of the most fascinating spots in Venezuela!  Return to Canaima and departure by flight to Caracas via Puerto Ordaz. Arrival and connecting flight to Los Roques. Check-in in a posada, dinner and overnight stay.Meals: B / L / D

Days 9, 10 and 11 | Los Roques National Park

Whole day excursions to neighboring islands (Madrisquí and Francisquí). Trips to other islands in the archipelago or sports activities such as diving, snorkeling and windsurf can be organized locally.Meals: B / L / D

Day 12 | Los Roques National Park - Caracas

Departure with a commercial flight to Caracas after breakfast. Arrival, assistance at the airport and departure with intercontinental flight.Meals: B / - / -
