Machu Picchu and Hotel Based Galapagos Islands Tour

(Suggested Itinerary)

Day 1 - Arrival to Lima airport where we will meet you.  Transfer to your chosen Hotel, for the Classic 3*/ 4* Tour you will be staying at the 4* Casa Andina Private Collection in Miraflores.  For Luxury Travellers it will be the 5* Miraflores Park Hotel.  Enjoy the rest of the day as free time.

Day 2 - In the morning transfer to Lima airport for your one hour flight to Cuzco.  Arrive to Cuzco where we will meet you and transfer you to you chosen Hotel. 

For the Classic Tour your will be staying in the beautiful 4* Casa Andina Private Collection just two blocks from the Plaza de Armas in Cuzco.  For Luxury travellers it will be the 5* Miraflores Park Hotel, voted the best Hotel in the whole Continent of South America by Conde Nast Traveler for the last 4 consecutive years. In the afternoon you will enjoy a City Tour of Cuzco visiting the Inca Fortress of Sacsayhuamán, Cuzco Cathedral and the most important temple of the Inca Empire - Coricancha the Inca Temple of the Sun.

Day 3 - Collection from your Hotel for a full day Tour of the Sacred Valley, visiting the Inca ruins of Pisac and Ollayantambo also the Market at Pisac, a great place to buy souvenirs.

Day 4 - An early start to catch your chosen train to Machu Picchu either the Vistadome or Luxury Hiram Bingham services.

Reception and transfer to Machu Picchu where you will enjoy a Private Tour with a qualified English speaking guide. Enjoy the rest of the day as free time to enjoy the Sanctuary.  In the late afternoon transfer to your chosen train for the trip back to Cuzco.

Day 5 - In the morning fly to Lima and transfer to your chosen Hotel.  In the afternoon a half day Tour of Colonial and Modern Lima, visiting Lima Cathedral, the Church and Convent of San Francisco and a Museum of your choice

Day 6 - In the morning transfer to Lima airport for your 3 Hour flight to Quito in Ecuador the starting point for your flights to the Galapagos Islands.  Transfer to your chosen Hotel and enjoy the rest of the day as free time.

In Quito we recommend the 4* Patio Andaluz, in a converted Colonial Mansion right in the center of historic Quito for both Classic & Luxury travellers.

Day 7 - Enjoy a full day Tour of Quito visiting the fabulous Colonial Centre and the Middle of the World Monument, which sits directly on the Equator.  Quito is a UNESCO World Heritage City

Day 8 – 11 (Day 12 for Finch Bay program)

In the morning transfer to Quito airport for your 4 Hour flights to the Galapagos Islands. Transfer to your chosen Hotel on the Islands, the Eco Hotel Finch Bay for Classic Travellers in a prime beach front location and for Luxury Travellers the Royal Palm, the only 5* Hotel in the Galapagos an one of the finest Hotels in South America. Here we commence a program of Wildlife Tours, Scuba diving and Snorkeling etc.

Day 11 (Day 12 for Finch Bay Tours) - In the morning transfer to the airport for your flights back to Quito.  We have arranged the VIP Lounge at Quito airport for you to enjoy whilst waiting for your International Flights home.
