Amazon Camp Camani

DAY 1: Caracas-Puerto Ayacucho- Camp Camani

Over a welcome cocktail, we will provide you with information of the camp and the tourist  services of the region. We will start with a tour of approximately two hours for flora and fauna watching, while traveling on the Ventuari River to the Guayaje Channel. There we’ll do some Piranha fishing! We will return to camp for lunch. In the afternoon, we will departure on foot for a journey to an enchanting area where You’ll be amazed by the great variety of plants, each with their own color of green and the beautiful Ventuari River. We will return to camp for dinner. (–, L, D)

DAY 2: Cano Manaca and Cano Marieta

This day includes jungle exploration, river travel and a visit to native communities. After breakfast we will visit two native communities during our travel on the Cano Manaca. Departing the boats, we will embark on a two-hour jungle exploration, which will present us with the chance to bathe at the charming Cano Marieta. This is great opportunity to see a diverse variety of flora and fauna and the fresh water dolphin. After a picnic, we will work our way back to camp. At camp, you will have free time to relax and investigate the area. (B, L, D)

DAY 3: Laja Perlada

After breakfast, we will travel on the Ventauri River to a small native community village. We will enjoy a tranquil picnic in the village. From the village, we will hike to a large rock in the company of our native guides. We will climb to the top, so we have a better vantage point to contemplate the extents of the cacaoteros crops and other agricultural products of the community. We will return to camp for dinner. DAY 4: Moriche community

After breakfast, we will travel for two hours on a fast boat. During the boat journey, the jungle scenery will enchant you. We will visit some majestic waterfalls and enjoy a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll return to camp. (B, L, D)

DAY 5: Puerto Ayacucho-Caracas

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport. Departure will be on a Cessna to the city of Puerto Ayacucho to continue on to Caracas on a commercial flight.
